DeepSeek Harness
Launch DeepSeek Harness through Edgee and manage its dedicated coding-agent key.
DeepSeek Harness is the coding assistant launched by the dsh executable. It is separate from the DeepSeek model provider: select DeepSeek Harness when enrolling its coding-agent key, not a DeepSeek BYOK provider key.
Launch through Edgee
Install DeepSeek Harness so dsh is available on your PATH, then install the Edgee CLI.
edgee launch deepseek
If needed, Edgee starts sign-in automatically. Complete sign-in and select your organization when prompted. The CLI provisions a dedicated key with the coding-assistant identifier deepseek.
With Edgee aliases installed using edgee alias, use your usual command:
dsh
Manage settings
edgee settings deepseek
Settings apply to the selected organization's DeepSeek Harness key. Organization and squad rules can lock settings; see Gateway settings and inheritance.
Manage the key in the console
- Open the Edgee Console and select your organization.
- Click Set up coding agent or +, select DeepSeek Harness, and enroll it. If already enrolled by the CLI, use its existing entry.
- Open its settings to manage compression, routing, and the coding-agent key.
Do not use a standard LLM Router API key in place of the dedicated coding-agent key.
Verify a session
Launch DeepSeek Harness through Edgee and complete at least one model request. Open Sessions in the same organization and check the agent, requests, and cost. See Sessions and Troubleshooting.
